About Climb Capuchin

Formerly known as Texas Rock Gym, ClimbCap seeks to provide Houstonians of all ages and skills levels with access to the sport of climbing in a professional, high quality climbing gym with an emphasis on frequent outdoor climbing excursions. Our lively atmosphere, interwoven with meaningful connection & devoted guest service advocates for growth of the sport by centering connection, adventure, and passion.

Our routes are constantly updated which serves to maintain a fresh climbing experience.

We also offer associated fitness programs available to members such as Tai-Chi and Kung Fu.

You may know that our climbing community at Campbell Road previously went by the name “Texas Rock Gym”. While the legal ownership and entity of our gym is anew, the decades of passion and expertise lives on through our current team and community.

Our mission at Climb Capuchin is to creature a positive, inclusive, and expansively educational climbing community that inspires climbers new and old to devote themselves to the adventure and sport of climbing. You may also notice our distinct emphasis on outdoor climbing: ClimbCap routes are set to mimic natural rock as closely as possible and we prioritize empowering our community to connect with nature through outdoor climbing experiences.

We hope you enjoy your time with us, and that the ClimbCap serves your climbing journey and ignites your sense of adventure!
